Alum Rock Hideaway

A wonderful place to escape and truly relax. The tranquil atmosphere and peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway.

Relaxing Break

We had the most wonderful weekend at Alum Rock Hideaway. It was exactly what we needed — a chance to switch off, slow down and escape the outside world, with nothing but the sounds of nature around us.

It feels incredibly remote, yet still luxurious and beautifully comfortable. And the night sky was absolutely spectacular — seeing the Milky Way and so many stars was a real highlight.

We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be back!

The Perfect Escape

My wife and I had the most amazing time in the hideaway. Sofia was a brilliant and accommodating host and made the stay so easy. So many nice touches throughout. We loved every second of our stay there!

Peaceful retreat

We stayed here on my birthday, had initially booked for 2 nights but ended up extending because it was an absolute treat. Mesmerising is an understatement. The Cabin is beautifully designed and functionally equipped with modern appliances. Cooking steaks on the bbq every night was especially fun! The view of the sky and the friendly interaction with the sheep and the kangaroo was a perfect add-on. Host was really polite and was kind enough to enable our caffeine addiction even further by restocking the coffee pods.
We will surely be back!

Staycation

I’m really glad I decided to treat ourselves to a stay at Alum Rock. It was so peaceful and rejuvenating to feel so far removed from the world. Our favourite amenities were the fire pit and outdoor bath, but all the inclusions were really clever and thoughtful. Thankyou again.
