The Laurel at White Oak Reserve is a private romantic retreat for two, tucked into the North Georgia mountains just minutes from Blue Ridge and McCaysville.
Soak beneath the stars. Make your own wood-fired pizza. Shower beneath the open sky. Spend the evening beside your private outdoor fireplace.
This is a retreat designed around the moments you actually come to the mountains for.
MORNINGS AT THE LAUREL
Wake to birdsong, crisp mountain air and views across rolling hills and hardwood trees.
Make coffee in the French press and take it onto your private deck. There is no need to rush the morning here — and nowhere you need to be.
When you're ready, settle into the private hot tub or, during the warmer season, step beneath the outdoor rain shower surrounded by fresh mountain air.
EVENINGS ARE EVEN BETTER
As daylight fades, The Laurel becomes its own destination.
Make dinner outside. Try your hand at pizza in the professional wood-fired pizza oven. Open a bottle of wine and settle beside the private outdoor fireplace while the woods grow quiet around you.
Later, head inside for movie night on the oversized projector with surround sound and wireless streaming.
Or stay outside a little longer and let the stars provide the entertainment.
INSIDE THE RETREAT
The Laurel was created for comfort without losing the character of the mountains.
A sumptuous king bed, natural wood-plank ceilings and blackout blinds make slow mornings easy. Spa-inspired toiletries add a thoughtful touch, while the Moroccan-inspired kitchen provides the essentials for coffee, breakfast, light cooking and evenings when staying in sounds better than going out.
High-speed Wi-Fi keeps you connected when you want to be — and the setting makes it surprisingly easy not to be.
SECLUDED, NOT REMOTE
The Laurel feels wonderfully removed from the everyday, without putting you far from anything.
Downtown Blue Ridge and McCaysville are approximately 7 minutes away, with Mercier Orchards, wineries, hiking trails, waterfalls, the Toccoa River, dining and shopping all within easy reach.
Access is straightforward year-round, and no 4x4 is required.
Spend the day exploring North Georgia, then return to your own private corner of White Oak Reserve.
THE BEST PART MAY BE STAYING RIGHT HERE.
Coffee on the deck. An afternoon soak. Pizza by the fire. A movie after dark. Stars overhead.
The Laurel isn't about packing more into your getaway.
It's about slowing everything down enough to enjoy it.
