The charming town of Greve was exactly what I needed after 3 weeks of travelling through Spain and Portugal! The heat was easy to beat with fabulous AC in a completely and beautifully renovated apartment! I was looking for a local experience and it’s exactly what I found. 🙏🏼
The market square is full of local shops and restaurants where the locals actually hang out. Every Saturday they magically turn the square into a flea market of goodies and great finds. The music throughout my 5 days here was talented and Italian flavour! Just 40 minutes from Florence, an hour from Sienna and so much more to explore, I would live here if I could. ❤️
The accommodation was spot on! A complete gut with such tasteful design, also keeping original Italian tile floors and special stained glass compliments throughout, very tastefully done!
Not one thing was missing, right down to the foam frother to make my lattes divine! If you like to cook and entertain, you will find everything you need or want. The bathroom is beautiful, shower pressure perfect and the bidet was a refreshing bonus! But my most important concern when staying somewhere new is the bed I lay my head. After long walks and sight seeing, all I want is to crawl into a comfortable bed with a great couple of pillows for a great night sleep and 💯 they nailed it!
As for the hosts, Emily and Massi … what a pleasure to know them now. They take care of you like you are familia! You can hire them in multiple fashions from wine tours (Massi is a sommelier with great taste in wine 🍷) but that’s not all, they will also offer food and wine pairings and they are the best tour guides in town. I truly loved my experience here in the Chianti region of Tuscany. I would highly recommend their hospitality and location ~ hands down! Thank you both for the perfect experience in Greve! En vacances en Toscane, nous avons séjourné 3 jours à Greve. L’appartement est très bien, il est bien équipé, confortable, propre et idéalement situé au pied de la place Matteotti.
Notre hôte est à l’écoute et réactif.

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this accommodation. It was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area.
The hosts were truly outstanding. Communication was always quick, clear, and seamless, and they were incredibly welcoming and kind. They provided us with a wealth of valuable recommendations and local tips for our activities, which made our stay even more enjoyable and memorable.
We would happily stay here again and give this place our warmest recommendation!

The facilities were of a high standard and very well appointed at a level we had not experienced on the rest of our journey.

Stay in Chianti International "

My sister and I stayed here between Florence and Rome and absolutely loved it. Greve in Chianti is a quiet, charming town and the apartment was comfortable, newly renovated, and so beautiful. We spent time wine tasting and exploring the Tuscan countryside, which made the stay feel really special. It was the perfect peaceful break from the busier cities and I would happily stay here again.
