Welcome to the Lake House at Toledo Bend

Escape to the lake and settle into a peaceful waterfront retreat where mornings begin with beautiful views, afternoons are made for the water, and evenings are best spent gathered around the fire pit.

Our 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath Lake House is tucked away on a quiet, semi-private cove of Toledo Bend Reservoir, offering a relaxing setting for families, couples, fishing trips, military families, and friends looking to slow down and enjoy time together.

With plenty of room to spread out, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and outdoor amenities designed for making memories, the Lake House is much more than a place to sleep — it’s a place to truly enjoy your time away.

The Space

The Lake House features three comfortable bedrooms with two king beds and one queen bed, plus an air mattress for additional sleeping space. The home can accommodate up to eight guests, making it a great choice for family vacations, couples traveling together, fishing groups, or a getaway with friends.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere with plenty of space to gather after a day on the lake. The kitchen features beautiful granite countertops and gives you the convenience of preparing meals at home, whether you're making a quick breakfast before heading out to fish or cooking dinner for the whole family.

A beautiful stone fireplace adds warmth and character to the living area and creates a cozy place to relax, visit, watch a movie, or simply unwind.

With 2.5 bathrooms, families and larger groups have the extra convenience they need when everyone is getting ready for the day.

Life on Toledo Bend

One of the best parts of staying here is having Toledo Bend right outside your door.

Step outside and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our semi-private cove. Bring your morning coffee outside, watch the water, listen to the sounds of nature, or spend the afternoon enjoying everything the lake has to offer.

Guests have access to kayaks, fishing poles, a lily pad, and life jackets, making it easy to get out and enjoy the water without having to bring everything from home.

Toledo Bend is well known for its fishing, so anglers will feel right at home. Whether you're coming specifically for a fishing trip or just hoping to cast a line during your vacation, you'll have plenty of opportunities to enjoy one of Louisiana's most loved lakes.

Outdoor Fun

There is plenty to enjoy without ever leaving the property.

Challenge the family to a game of cornhole, take the kayaks out for a peaceful paddle, spend some time fishing, or relax by the water while the kids enjoy the lily pad.

When dinner time rolls around, fire up the pellet grill and enjoy a meal outside. As the sun goes down, gather around the fire pit, slow down, and enjoy a quiet Louisiana evening together.

Some of the best memories at the Lake House are often the simplest ones — morning coffee overlooking the water, an afternoon spent fishing, dinner from the grill, and conversations around the fire at the end of the day.

Close to South Toledo Bend State Park

South Toledo Bend State Park is only a few minutes away, giving guests convenient access to even more outdoor recreation and one of the nearest boat launches.

Bring your boat and spend the day exploring Toledo Bend, head to the park for hiking and wildlife watching, enjoy a picnic, or simply take in the scenery.

The location gives you the peaceful feeling of a lake getaway while still putting outdoor activities and conveniences within easy reach.

Perfect for Fishing Trips

If Toledo Bend fishing is the reason for your visit, you've found a wonderful home base.

The lake is nationally known for bass fishing and attracts anglers throughout the year. With South Toledo Bend State Park and its boat launch just minutes away, getting onto the water is convenient.

After a long day of fishing, come back to a comfortable home where you can relax, grill dinner, sit around the fire pit, and prepare for another day on the lake.

Perfect for Families

The Lake House was created with time together in mind.

Instead of being separated between hotel rooms, your family can enjoy one home with space to gather, cook meals, play games, enjoy the outdoors, and make memories together.

Kids and adults alike can enjoy the kayaks, fishing, cornhole, and time by the water, while parents and grandparents can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Whether you're celebrating something special, visiting family in the area, or simply getting everyone together for a few days away, the Lake House offers a comfortable place to reconnect.

A Relaxing Couples or Friends Getaway

You don't need a special occasion to escape to Toledo Bend.

The Lake House is also a wonderful option for couples traveling together or friends who simply want a few quiet days away from the everyday routine.

Spend the day on the lake, explore the surrounding area, prepare dinner together, and end the evening around the fire. With two king bedrooms and a queen bedroom, multiple couples can enjoy comfortable sleeping arrangements while sharing the common spaces of the home.

Visiting Fort Polk, Leesville or Anacoco?

The Lake House can also be a comfortable alternative to a traditional hotel when you're visiting family, attending an event, or traveling to the Fort Polk, Leesville, or Anacoco area.

Military families and visitors can enjoy the extra space and privacy of an entire home while still having the opportunity to experience one of the area's greatest attractions — Toledo Bend.

After a busy day, come back to the peace and quiet of the lake rather than another hotel room.

Stay Connected While You Unplug

While the Lake House is a wonderful place to disconnect from the everyday rush, Wi-Fi is available when you need to stay connected.

Stream a movie after a day outside, check in with work, share your favorite lake photos, or simply enjoy having the convenience of internet access during your stay.

Explore the Area

There's plenty to discover beyond the Lake House.

Spend a day exploring South Toledo Bend State Park, take a scenic drive, visit nearby Anacoco or Leesville, explore the natural beauty of the surrounding area, or head into town for local restaurants and shopping.

Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities for fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking, wildlife viewing, and exploring the beautiful forests and lakes of West Central Louisiana.

Or don't make plans at all.

Sometimes the best Toledo Bend vacation is the one where you stay right by the water, put your phone away, and simply enjoy where you are.

What You'll Love

Guests especially enjoy the peaceful waterfront setting, semi-private cove, spacious 3-bedroom layout, two king beds, queen bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms, Wi-Fi, kayaks, fishing poles, lily pad, life jackets, cornhole, pellet grill, fire pit, and convenient access to South Toledo Bend State Park.

Most importantly, you'll have a comfortable home base where everyone can relax and spend meaningful time together.

Your Toledo Bend Getaway Awaits

Whether you're coming to Toledo Bend to catch the big one, spend a weekend on the water, reconnect with family, visit someone nearby, or simply escape somewhere peaceful for a few days, we'd love to welcome you.

Pack your fishing gear, bring your favorite people, and get ready to slow down and enjoy lake life.

Morning coffee by the water, afternoons on Toledo Bend, dinner from the grill, and evenings around the fire pit are waiting for you.

Come make yourself at home and enjoy your stay at the Lake House — where lake days, peaceful nights, and lasting memories come together.
