The view from Ballydorn Stay alone has guests coming back again and again. Overlooking Whiterock Bay of Strangford Lough it offers seclusion and privacy and yet is a stones throw from the pub/ restaurant Daft Eddy's&nbsp;and lots of fun activities.&nbsp;The shepherd hut has&nbsp;its own outdoor space with firepit and grill, relaxing Muskoka Chairs &amp; picnic table to enjoy the spectacular view over Strangford Lough.&nbsp;Fabulously comfortable and cosy it has&nbsp;immediate access to outdoor pursuits in the area from cycling &amp; walking to paddle boarding &amp; sailing. Ballydorn Stay&nbsp;Shepherd Hut&nbsp;Sleeps 4 in a king bed &amp; twin bunks with a kitchenette &amp; shower room within the hut. Daft Eddy's restaurant/bar and Little Eddy's Café is a short 3 minute stroll if you don’t feel like cooking. The Spacious 160 sq. foot&nbsp;insulated shepherd hut is laid out to optimum use - the&nbsp;king size bed has plenty of storage with large drawers underneath&nbsp;and a headboard that provides&nbsp;space for family board-games and books as well as stylish lamps with bendy reading lights.&nbsp;The bunk beds offer bespoke memory foam mattresses and reading lights with USB points. The kitchenette has an under-counter fridge, a beautiful&nbsp;granite counter, butler sink,&nbsp;kettle, toaster, portable double induction hob (to make sure counter space is not taken over), cafetière and the usual cutlery &amp; crockery. There is a&nbsp;table and stools for inside dining. Soft towels, cosy bedding and even a hot water bottle for those colder nights are supplied. Central heating and on demand hot water for your&nbsp;shower,&nbsp;perhaps after one of the many outdoor activities available in&nbsp;Strangford Lough. &nbsp;The Heated towel rail in the bathroom and wall heater in main area will keep you cosy in the colder winter months. We have a tree fort at the bottom of the garden that my kids would love to share as long as parents are responsible for their own children. I will be on hand for any help or recommendations in the local area. There is also plenty of info in the manual in the shepherd hut. We also offer the option of adding a bell tent sleeping up to four from mid May with king mattress and two very comfortable pullout singles&nbsp;-to add this to your accommodation proceed to booking and add either bell tent sleeping two or four plus the additional cleaning charge. The guests in the bell tent will have their own bathroom located in the adjacent outbuilding for their sole use -- sheets are provided but guests in the tent need to bring their own towels . The bell tent will not be rented separately from the hut. Dogs are allowed but they must be kept on a leash at all times and must never be left unattended at the property - we have our own dog who is not tethered but is v friendly. Dogs must not be allowed on the beds and an additional fee of £30&nbsp;will be charged for dogs- only one pet maximum. For those booking the bell tent there must be a minimum of two adults aged 25 or over. No Hens or Stag parties. Bell tent is only available for bookings of two nights or more

Amazing place great for a small family of 4 with a dog. Must be one of the most beautiful views in Northern Ireland. Will 100% be back.

Such a perfect little oasis. Steph is a marvellous hostess and has thought of every little detail to make a stay here perfect. As a couple we found the setting really romantic. The bed was so comfy and toasty and we loved lying relaxing listening to the wind and rain. It's superbly insulated and the decor is so tasteful. We purchased add ons of the breakfast pack and Rachel Bakes cupcakes. Utterly delicious. Bonus that our dog was able to come too 😊 We had dinner on the Saturday night in Daft Eddie's which is a short walk from the property. It was fabulous too. (Just make sure you pre book a reservation as it can get busy)There is nothing we disliked and in fact we will definitely return!

Steph has created a luxurious mini home with stylish details an incredible kitchen and kitted out with everything you could possibly want. With the addition of the bell tent, you could easily holiday for a week with 2 families. View and area is second to none! We are already looking to book again for next summer.
