The Sugar Hill Villa

I hate to even write this review for fear that Sugar Hill will be booked when we go to book for our next trip!

This was our 28th trip since 2002, and Sugar Hill has just surpassed our other two favorites. It has absolutely everything we were looking for. Tom & Brenda did an amazing job of making sure you have anything you could possibly need including sharp knives and every appliance or piece of cookware you could want. We seriously could not think of anything it was missing. Ask Kelsey, the wonderful manager, before you buy things at the store. Our only comment was that we didn't see any hummingbirds; then we noticed the tree in front of the deck was FULL of them. We are already trying to pick our dates for our next trip!

Perfection

This was my first time at Sugar Hill Villa and we had such a nice time that we booked next year before even putting one suitcase in the car on the way out. I truly do not think you can beat the vibe of this stunning property from the views to one of the best decorated homes I have been in. The beds are heavenly, the location is a 12/10, close to everything and the market right down the driveway is incredibly clutch.

I also appreciated how clear and timely communication was throughout the entire process, which was one of my hesitations booking a villa I had not stayed at before.

Thank you Tom and Brenda for opening your incredible home to my family. And thank you Kelsey for all your help coordinating all the necessities and getting us settled.

I cannot wait to return next year.

The One and Only

Our family and friends recently stayed at Sugar Hill while in St. John for my daughter’s wedding, and it was truly exceptional.

The views alone are breathtaking, offering a sweeping panorama of the North Shore scenery. The villa’s layout is incredibly thoughtful. The large open kitchen flows seamlessly into a dining area and comfortable seating space, creating the perfect central hub for gathering. We especially loved the expansive glass doors that open fully to the outdoor patio, allowing the island breezes and scenery to become part of the living space.

The patio itself is beautifully designed, offering abundant seating and a serene pool area that overlooks the stunning North Shore.

Highly recommended!

Gorgeous

I've made 12 trips to St John starting in the late 90's, so to say I've stayed in a lot of villas on St John is an understatement.

Sugar Hill is easily one of our favorites villas we've ever stayed in and would 100% stay there again on future trips. As a family with children 13 and younger, having interior facing rooms is very important (and hard to find). I felt like I found a treasure when I found Sugar Hill's location (our favorite) mid island along with the beautiful views and interior rooms.

The house is so well stocked with any sort of kitchen item you can think of and great pool floats. Ac in the living room was so great, too. The road is steep but totally manageable and part of the STJ adventure.

One of our favorite STJ Homes

We stayed in your home with our children for our first visit to St. John and it was a home run. The view is stunning and we just couldn't stop staring. Hummingbirds all over the yard were such a treat. The home is extremely well stocked with everything you could need and more. We would have been struggling without the beach bags and towels that you left. The guide books were so helpful to plan out our days. And the kitchen is beyond stocked with all we needed. You can see every star from the patio at night. We rent homes regularly and this was the best one yet. The location in the middle of the island was unbeatable. Your home is a gem. We can't wait to return!
