Joglos are a living space that espouses our core value: to build in harmony with nature as well as native culture. Sandat Joglo represents this unity, every piece of it contains a slice of history and the open terrace and dining area ensure that nature is at your fingertips. With two bedrooms and a sunset view, your stay here can only be lush!
You can use 2 large communal infinity pools, the Central pool with views overlooking the Barat National Park and our famous Lingga pool you will find after a 10 minute hike uphill. Both have spectacular sunset views behind the Java volcanoes.

Sandat Joglo

Super positively surprised by this beautiful place! Sumberkima Hillside is located in the middle of nature, the combination of all the beautiful greenery and the unique architecture was truly amazing! Compared to the south, everything here seems so much cleaner and everyone here seems to be really committed to not throwing any waste into nature. There are two very good restaurants, one western and one more Indonesian, so something for everyone (also available for delivery to your cottage). The team will arrange everything you want via WhatsApp. There is also plenty to do, which made it a lot of fun for our children (8 and 6). We took a walk with Ocho who taught us all about the way of life, nature and everything that grows there and you can eat. But we also visited Mangrove Bay a few times with the (free) shuttle cart, where there are two brand new padel courts for a few games of padel. You can also eat very well there, play jeu de boules, ping pong, etc. And a gigantic gym is being built and is almost finished. As a highlight we went on a snorkeling tour and the visibility, the coral and the fish and even the turtle were more beautiful than we have ever seen anywhere.

Definitely recommended

We really enjoyed the eco-village concept and the peaceful atmosphere of the resort. The Suma restaurant was excellent, with high quality food and great service. The spa was very good, and the addition of two saunas and an ice bath is a fantastic touch. The two swimming pools are large, exactly as shown in the photos, and never felt crowded. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the villas were spacious and well equipped, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, it is a place where you instantly feel relaxed and at home.

A beautiful eco-retreat with great value, excellent facilities, and a genuinely relaxing atmosphere

Beautiful villa (sandat joglo), clean, very helpful staff. Good restaurants and convenient shuttle carts that takes you around the resort for free

Amazing place

Great stay, pools and views and restaurants all very good.

Great stay!

We stayed in the two-bedroom villa and we really enjoyed our staying at this resort. The restaurants on site provide beautiful food, local and international - Senja restaurant was our favorite for dinner - great view and outdoor setting. Our villa was clear, comfortable and quiet. The villa was also beautifully decorated inside and outside. The enjoying swimming in the shared pools with great view of the mountains. We would stay here again!
