Listening to the waves at night is so incredibly peaceful so you will love it!

We have 4 kayaks, a hammock to relax in, lots of chairs for outside, and 4 zero gravity chairs. There are sand toys for the kids and cornhole bean bag toss game for some fun competition. There is also a canoe if you'd like to venture out in that.
Our sandy beach is set back from the water's edge and the shoreline is quite rocky so we suggest bringing water shoes or sandals.

An awesome fire pit is ready for you to get going and make smores. Firewood is available on site.

If it's raining, no worries we have you covered with tons of board games and puzzles for kids and adults of all ages.

We love our pets, and we know a lot of our guests love theirs too, so we are happy to welcome up to 2 pets to our home. We do however have a few guidelines to our open door policy towards them including a $99 Pet Fee.

If you would like to bring your pet please message us.
Guest access
2 car concrete pad outside of the garage. Garage is not for parking in. Longer driveway so you can back into the grass area to turn around prior to going onto the highway.

Sunny Skys Upper Peninsula Michigan Lakehouse

We stayed with Sunny Skys when we had a house fire. Nicki went above and beyond to get the house cleaned and get us in as soon as possible. The house was impeccable and was the most organized I have ever stayed in. The view of the lake is beyond compare! Nickie was always available at a moments notice even though they were out of state during our visit. I would highly recommend booking with Sunny Skys for a spectacular stay in the UP!

Wonderful experience

We had an amazing stay at Nickie’s place. It had everything we could need for a nice weekend by the bay. We’re definitely looking forward to coming back in the future.

Amazing stay

this was the 2nd time staying at this home and both times were great. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice getaway on the lake!

Second time visiting

Besides one little hiccup that was out of anyone’s control everything was great. Delightful cozy spot on the lake. A lot of bugs but that comes with the area. Thank you!

Delightful cozy spot on the lake

Nicki was very responsive and helpful with any questions! The home was very cozy, peaceful, relaxing and welcoming! I loved that they accepted our pup also :) beautiful scenery! Can’t wait to come back for the summer! The home was better in person even! They even had all the little stuff like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, shavers (unopened with cute shaving cream packets) curling irons! And tons of dog stuff available for our pup even! It was a great experience thank you again for the stay :)
