Retreat to our luxury A-frame overlooking Lake Superior! Enjoy the views with a wall of windows, panoramic sauna, heated floors, full kitchen, private bedroom, full bath, and loft with queen bed. The private outdoor setting includes a deck, campfire, and grill.***Booking 9 months in advance. Summer and weekend prices are higher and reflect the demand of the season and location. This cabin is 1 of 4 units at our Superior Hideaway Resort.
Our property is equipped with very fast internet offering guests an easy way to work remotely if desired.
We allow dogs (not other pets) on the property; however we require that guests pay a $100 non-refundable pet fee before we finalize the booking. We expect that you will clean up after your dog and let us know of any incidences.
We provide our guests with a large outdoor area complete with a deck, a grill, fire pit area with adirondack chairs, and a private sauna.
Please bring your own firewood and kindling/fire starters for the campfire (unless you want to gather sticks in the woods which is completely fine with us!) Most gas stations are stocked with bundles of firewood to purchase on your way.
We provide a charcoal grill for guests to use but ask that you bring your own charcoal.
Our hope is that you fully enjoy all that our tiny home has to offer! We believe our place has all that you need to enjoy a retreat away without leaving the forest. Most recreational attractions such as hiking/biking trails, sight-seeing, ATV trails, or other destinations are nearby. You are more than welcome to bring your own bikes, snowmobiles or even your boat when staying with us. We provide plenty of parking space as well as enough of an area to turn trailers around. Check out things to do in the area on our blog.
Due to the weather in MN, please be prepared for winter travel when coming to and from our cabin. We make sure the driveway to the cabin is plowed for you but cannot guarantee how the roads leading there will be.
As your hosts, we want to make your stay as perfect as possible. We will be available via the app to answer any questions or concerns during your stay. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us!

Summit A-Frame

Beautiful spot and a perfect getaway to explore spring waterfall season along the northshore!

None

The Summit A-Frame was incredible. We recently lost our 14 year old pup. And really needed to get out of the city. This cabin gave us the peace and quiet we needed. Surroundings were beautiful. Private sauna was a plus. Cabin was clean and we appreciated that staff used eco friendly and lightly scented cleaning products. We will definitely will book this cabin again. Highly recommend. 😊👍🏽

Peaceful Respite

We rented the larger cabin this year! The deck off the living area was fabulous. Given that there were 2 + DOG. YAY! For pet friendly. Private as the cabin is positioned just so.
We had a great fire, grilled....
So close to Split rock, beaches & hiking..biking on the Gateway.
Dining out is close by @ Cove Point. Easy drive from Mpls.
Kitchen well appointed..we love to cook.
Loft bed there if you need your own space. Bedding & pillows are great. We will be back in spring & fall 2026.

Loved

There’s the saying “home sweet home,” but this was truly cabin sweet cabin! I instantly fell in love with the cozy space and the surrounding beauty: trails, shoreline, lighthouse, waterfalls, beaches, and marina. The cabin’s views were absolutely incredible. The outdoor amenities made it even better: a sauna, firepit, and spacious deck created the perfect gathering space. Inside, we discovered a stash of games in the coffee table that wowed us and provided hours of family fun. The king bedroom was by far the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, with bedding that felt like a dream. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we needed (and more), which made packing a breeze. Our teen boys loved the loft and pull-out couch. My husband and I especially enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee on the deck and relaxing evenings with wine by the fire. The cooler mornings and evenings made the sauna feel magical. This cabin gave us the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and adventure. We hope to make this an annual family retreat!

Cabin Sweet Cabin

Summit A-Frame in Beaver Bay was absolutely wonderful for our North Shore get away. The cabin is beautiful, inside and out. The sauna is rejuvenating and the fire pit was so relaxing. The cabin is located in the perfect location to go to multiple of the state parks up the North Shore.

Absolutely wonderful.
