Whistling Timbers Cabin

An Exceptional Fall Getaway at Tailwater Lodge

Visiting Tailwater Lodge in the fall is truly an exceptional experience. The lodge is beautifully maintained and perfectly situated in a stunning natural setting. Wildlife is abundant, and the colorful fall foliage creates a breathtaking backdrop that makes the whole stay feel magical.

The river offers some of the best trout fishing you could ask for, and ending the day around the fire under the stars is pure perfection. The driveway to the cabin is well maintained and easily accessible—even with a sedan—which made our arrival and departure effortless.

We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t wait to return.

"WOW!!! How beautiful it is here. Everything is perfect and we are so enjoying ourselves. Thanks for the hospitality!"

Whispering Timbers "WOW"

We absolutely LOVED this cabin and the great location. The cabin was well-stocked and extremely clean. We enjoyed the trails right outside the door, the smoke pit, and the fun downtown area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this location!!

Whisteling Timbers

My family of four stayed here for the first part of our summer mountain vacation. Everything was fantastic from beginning to end. Very clean, modern appliances, gorgeous views and comfy beds. Fishing is literally at the end of the driveway. We spent our days catching rainbow trout and hiking the area trails. Enjoyed the solitude and relaxing on the huge deck at the end of the day. Highly recommended by the whole family. Thank you for making our vacation remarkable!

Family Summer Vacation

My wife and I stayed here over the 4th of July holiday. The cabin is located in a very quiet wooded location near the South Holston lake dam. There were deer and wild turkeys on the property. The 0.8 mile entrance drive is gravel, we had no issues coming and going with our AWD Toyota. The property manager kept in very close communication with us prior to our arrival. The cabin was immaculately clean and was nicely equipped in the kitchen and included all linens. Do NOT try to use Google maps to locate the house as it will take you to an incorrect location on a nearby road, simply follow the written instructions from the property manager. Our only minor negative item was that there was trash left from a prior occupant in one of the garage barrels.
