The Grotto

Our group planned to explore Lake Ouachita on PWC and The Grotto was the perfect home base for doing so! The house is within 15 mins of the nearest boat ramp & offered everything our group could want for some relaxing evenings after exploring the lake each day. From a really cool deck and fire pit out back, some great vibes in the house, to the very well-stocked assortment of cooking ware (especially for an AirBNB) that was needed for our hearty dinners, this place had everything we needed. I definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for somewhere around the Lake Ouachita area!

The Perfect Home Base

Simply, the Grotto was great! It was just far enough out of town to be secluded yet within a few minutes to all stores and restaurants. Brian and Colleen were quick to respond to all correspondence and very helpful with suggestions regarding local activities. The place was clean, comfortable, spacious, and provided everything from an abundance of towels/washcloths to pots/pans, etc. The outdoor firepit and backporch overlooking the forest was great as well. Will definitely be staying here again!!!

The Grotto was Great

This truly is one of the best Airbnb‘s I’ve stayed at. Everything we needed was there. The layout of the home was perfect. Very nice and quiet. Will definitely try to come back. Very responsive to our questions!

Everything we needed

This was one of the best Airbnb’s my family has stayed in. It was just as described and there were so many thoughtful details. We all felt right at home here. Between the back deck, fire pit, game room, and kids’ toys, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was also nice being tucked away, but also really close to restaurants and a grocery store. We would definitely stay here again!

One of the Best AirBNBs!

Ideal location at the end of a road and very private. The backyard was a beautiful spot to clean our crystal finds (our favorite mine Avatar was super close), have a campfire and enjoy the weather during our stay. We were thankful for the provided firewood and the well stocked kitchen and home. It suited our family perfectly and if we ever return we would not hesitate to book The Grotto again — a great value and great hosts made it a very enjoyable stay!
