The Ocotillo (pronounced aa·kuh·ti·low) is our two-bedroom suite, especially well suited for families. This private split-level suite features one king bed, one queen bed, a private bathroom, living room, kitchenette, two Frame TVs, and an original decorative fireplace. Please note that this suite requires the use of stairs. For those who prefer a more level layout, we recommend our Cholla, Creosote, or Yucca rooms.
The JTH Tucson, lovingly nicknamed Posada, is a small inn made up of six private suites, a two-bedroom casita, and over 5,000 square feet of shared spaces for guests to enjoy. Our self check-in experience allows for a private, immersive stay, with an on-site manager available should you need anything. Each suite is designed to feel like home, without a traditional front desk or a laminated binder of rules. We hope you'll settle in and make yourself at home.
Our rural location borders the west side of Saguaro National Park in Tucson, Arizona. Set on 38 acres among towering saguaros, native desert plants, and an abundance of wildlife, this is a place to reflect, reset, and create.
During your stay, you'll have access to the inn's shared spaces, including a chef's kitchen, canyon pool (solar heated and best enjoyed May through September), hot springs-style hot tub (heated to around 100 degrees), rooftop lounge, yoga room, dining patio with charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit (firewood provided for outdoor use only), and living room with a projector for movie nights. Our original indoor fireplaces are decorative only, and indoor fires are not permitted.
We provide a light in-room breakfast upon check-in, including local teas, coffee, almond milk, and gluten-free nut-based granola. Given our remote setting, we recommend picking up groceries to enjoy meals in the chef's kitchen or around the charcoal grill. For those looking to make their stay extra special, we're happy to share recommendations for private chefs, massages, and other experiences after booking.
We look forward to welcoming you to our little corner of the Sonoran Desert.

Ocotillo Suite at The JTH Tucson

Amazing amazing location and experience. JTH shows thoughtfulness in every detail of the stay, from the most delicious granola I’ve had in my life, to the views of each window, to how the rooms are laid out to make the property somehow feel both cozy but also private. Follow every single recommendation from the hosts - from the playlist to the lunch recommendations, you won’t regret it.

Amazing amazing location and experience

Posada was even better than the photos. Having followed along with the property and the owners, we knew the experience would speak to us, but it also WOWED us more than we expected. Even though the entire Inn was booked, it did not feel that way. We had plenty of privacy and quiet time and many areas of the property to have to yourself...or communal if you choose to mingle with other guests. The views are breath-taking and almost unobstructed. We rode our bikes around Saguaro Park West and the surrounding area, enjoyed the pools, cooked meals, and relaxed by the fireplace drinking wine. The on-sight hosts were super attentive and we had the pleasure of meeting them in person which emphasized the constant attention given to the property. As hosts ourselves, we have a high standard for cleanliness and thoughtful design details and Pasado delivered. We live in downtown Tucson, but this property felt like a true getaway and we hope this can be a new year-end tradition for us.

A true getaway

JTH Tuscon is incredible! My family and I recently stayed here during our first trip to Tucson and we had an amazing time. Every detail of this space was thoughtfully designed, curating a restful, inspiring, and invigorating experience. We loved spending our evenings in the living area playing board games and watching movies on the projector screen. As a fellow Airbnb host, we were grateful to stay in such a beautiful space and appreciate everything Courtney, Rich and Sara did to provide us with a 5-star experience!

First trip to Tucson

This was our third time at the JTH Tucson, and it was as wonderful as the first two! This time we stayed in the Ocotillo Suite, and it was great. So peaceful, beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed, and loved the access to the upstairs terrace. Thanks again to Rich, Sara, and Courtney for such an amazing experience!

This was my second time stating at JTH Tucson. I’ve stayed at a ton of Airbnbs & hotels around the world, and this is my favorite place! It feels like a private resort. The moment you enter the Posada you are embraced with a lovely scent paired with a beautiful aesthetic and the feeling of tranquility sets in. It continues into the rooms in every detail. It’s all very well decorated and thoughtfully curated. The room contains everything you need and then some. There is (delicious) granola, coffee, almond milk, tea, and water for you to enjoy. The beds are insanely comfortable!! Robes, a fireplace, & even a JTH Spotify playlist are just some of the extras that really makes this place special. The grounds are beautiful and contain many spaces for you to relax & enjoy. The inn is right at the edge of the Saguaro National Park, so the scenery is breathtaking and there are many close hikes nearby. I will be back! Thank you Sara, Rich, & Courtney!

This is my favorite place!
