We call this our "family apartment" because we built it in 2021 to accommodate family members when our main house, which is on an adjacent parcel, is full. It is appointed with brand new everything throughout, including a mini split HVAC system that provides both AC and heat. Enjoy brand new mattresses and bedding, a high end 65" smart TV, comfy new furniture, and a fully appointed custom kitchen! You must climb stairs to access the apartment.
This second floor apartment is located on Dog Team Road just north of the Village of Middlebury. Vergennes is nearby, as are quaint villages like Bristol. Parking is provided adjacent to the apartment.
The apartment is in a building with a total of three living units. The property is 25 acres and includes a main home plus the apartments. The main home is usually occupied by the owners or their guests. The owners live in Ohio and visit Vermont frequently. When the owners are in Vermont, they will be available to meet with guests if the guests wish.

Middlebury is a vibrant and charming college town filled with great restaurants, art galleries, museums, and of course all that the world-class college itself has to offer. This property is located in close proximity to many Vermont ski resorts such as Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, the Middlebury Snow Bowl, Rikert Nordic Ski Center, Pico, and Killington, among others.
It is a very easy 4.5 mile drive into Middlebury along Route 7. It is also easy to go north on Route 7 to nearby Vergennes, which is filled with wonderful shops and restaurants, or even to Burlington, which is only 30 miles north.
