There is a ping-pong table, corn hole boards, mini air-hockey table, old time record player, TV with video games and a DVD player with movies in the garage. Great spot for kids or to flip open the garage doors on a nice day and enjoy time with family and friends. You will also find an old-timey (hand crank) ice cream maker for your use.
Outdoors, there are lots of relaxing options from the covered porch, outdoor breakfast table, rocking chairs, and firepit. And, don't forget the hot tub!
There are several marinas who rent by the hour or day. The Shady Pine is located 1.5 miles from Browns Ford boat ramp. Plenty of parking and trailer storage.

The Shady Pine @ Barren River Lake, KY

Wow, this place was exactly what we needed for a quick family getaway. The cabin was decorated so cute and everything was immaculate. The owner had notes placed all around the house with little tidbits, directions, ideas, etc. There was nothing that she didn’t think of! Everything was there from cooking utensils, life jackets, floats, to the stuff to make smores. My family and especially my kids had the best time and didn’t want to leave!

Kids Didn't Want to Leave!

Melissa’s place had everything I could possibly need for my family. Fully stocked Kitchen with crock pots, spices, bakeware and small appliances. Awesome stocked coffee bar. Pack n play, toys etc. The space was amazing, the hardwood and decor were beautiful. Hot tub had nice powerful jets to relax in. Beds had nice support. She was very accommodating to our family and thoughtful. We were very happy and pleased with our stay. Melissa makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you!

Book it already!

Our family enjoyed a magical weekend in this cozy cabin. It was beautiful inside and out and perfectly appointed in every way. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. The beds and linens were clean and comfortable, and everyone enjoyed the game room and fireplace. Melissa thought of everything, truly, and we were so pleased. We hope to visit again in the future! It will be hard to beat this Airbnb experience.

⭐️ Five stars! Five stars! Five stars! ⭐️

The cabin is beautiful! All our expectations were met and exceeded during our three-night stay. Four teenagers were never bored, even on a rainy day! We live within an hour's drive and will definitely return.

Perfect!

The house is beautiful. The surrounding area is beautiful. The house is well stocked so everything you need, was very peaceful. We walked down to the lake and the garage/basement with all the games and things in it was an amazing asset. We had a wonderful time.
