Ideally located near Palisades,Northstar, and Sugar Bowl, the home features a King master, Queen room and a flexible Twin-to-King guest room, plus a flat driveway w/ easy garage access. Enjoy backyard sledding and snow play, walking distance to the Tahoe Donner Lodge, or take a short drive to shops, restaurants and charm in historic Old Town Truckee.

Winter Haven Home in Tahoe Donner

I recently stayed here for a month during the winter. The house is delightfully cozy with a wood-burning fireplace (plenty of wood provided), comfortable furniture, and beautiful views from the living room. Views on snow days are magical and the slope behind the house makes for great sledding. The master bedroom has similarly good views and a spot by the window makes a great place for working or reading. The kitchen is well-appointed and all appliances are in good order. The sonos speakers in the living room are a nice bonus.

For the summer: the grill is great condition, and I am sure the deck would be wonderful spot from which to enjoy Tahoe's evening glow.

Muhlebach Home

"As frequent visitors from the Bay Area, we’ve stayed in a lot of Tahoe rentals. This one genuinely felt like a home. Beautifully decorated and with a kitchen that was better stocked than our own house. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the light—the open-plan living room has massive windows framing gorgeous mountain views. There are decks on both sides, perfect for some morning and afternoon sun. The layout was seamless for us; the flexible twin-to-king setup in one room and the queen bed in the other worked perfect for our kids, and the master bed suite upstairs was great. Location-wise it’s unbeatable, right in the heart of Tahoe Donner, a short walk to golf and The Lodge and only a few minutes from Old Town Truckee. Also great hiking and mountain bike trails. Clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and flawlessly presented. We will absolutely be back. 5 stars"Cheers,Todd

Muhlebach Cabin

"Traveling all the way from Australia with the family (6 of us!) for a ski / snow holiday, we wanted something that felt like a true, authentic mountain home rather than a generic rental. This home delivered. The open-plan living area is stunning, with huge windows framing gorgeous alpine views, and an incredibly well-provisioned kitchen. The beds were great, we loved the upstairs master retreat, and the 2 car garage saved us as the snow was dumping. The location was perfect, close to great skiing at Palisades and to the charming old town Truckee. After a day on the slopes, we found ourselves spending most of our afternoons sledding in the backyard and our nights cooking at home and enjoying family time in the cozy cabin. It felt more like staying at a friend’s much loved home than a rental. The family didn’t want to leave."Can’t wait to stay again!Best regardsBrad Cooper
