The Robin House

Thank you so much to Jenn and Chris for sharing your home and letting us rent your Robin house (GA). Additional thank you for having instant book, with quick response time check in with excellent communication and a problem free trip. We rented the home for a graduation in the area and stayed two nights.
This home was very budget friendly and had plenty of amenities (versus other homes or a hotel). It was great having the washer (with detergent)and dryer and kitchen and all the extra space and rooms. This clean, cooled, welcoming, well decorated, home was located in a quiet neighborhood with an exceptional view of the lake with very friendly people and the weather was very nice for our stay. The area is draped in gorgeous Spanish moss. We arrive late the first evening and woke to a very comfortable bed with comfortable sheets and pillows (purchased the same pillows when we got home we love them so much). Linens (bedsheets, towels, kitchen linens, blankets )being provided made it easy with our travels and had make-up towels available as well. We were delighted to see they had both coffee makers styles (coffee, pot, and kcup with coffee, creamer, and sweetener as well as tea) which enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee on the dock with the exceptional Lakeview at sunrise with the Wildlife(fish, crabs birds(for the birdwatcher), lizards, dragonflies and fireflies at night). We left early to go to the graduation, which went well and did several area attractions over the next couple days Paris Island Museum, sunset dinner Savannah River Road cruise, #1ghosttour (online and self guided) and coastal Georgia botanical gardens(all of which highly recommend). Had we had more time I would have loved to do the lighthouses and Tanger outlet mall. Kroger grocery was within minutes of the home. The homes kitchen was stocked with extras(cookbooks, spices, oil, dishwashing tabs, soap, trash bags, foil, saran wrap etc.) and had a great selection of small appliances(mixer, crockpot, blender as well as two hairdryers in the bathrooms and a make up mirror and full-size mirror on door). Master bath had a jetted soaking tub, which was great after a long day with a glass of champagne. The home was stocked with things that you may need travel crib, first aid kit, -things of that nature. It also had Internet Wi-Fi and a printer. There was a grill on the back deck if you wanted to grill out . There was a kayak on site to take on lake as well .The inside fireplace is viewed from both inside lounge areas. Also there was board games and the extra perk of a Pac-Man game for kids or kids at heart. The home had plenty of lounge areas inside and out, including a living room area with the exceptional lake view, which was wonderful to crawl up on the couch in the AC after a hot day, with some of the tourism material and a cup of hot cocoa in a super comfy blanket that I fell in love with. Also wanted to note that check out was easy and hassle free (also they had trash/recycle delivery so you did not have to haul it off yourself). overall was a great stay and would highly recommend. My only complaint is that I wish we could have stayed longer and maybe the weather could have been cooler. Thanks again for sharing your home.

Amazing

Family visiting from Florida and Alabama. We had a wonderful time at the Robin House exploring Savannah and Tybee Island. All of the amenities in the house was great and we also enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Thank you so much and we will definitely love to stay here again!

Robin House

We just loved our stay at The Robin House. It’s a peaceful and safe neighborhood and perfectly placed between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island. Jennifer and Chris are the perfect hosts who have thought of everything for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The back porch is particularly enchanting for a beautiful view of the lake; a great place to have a meal or watch the sunrise. We will definitely come back!

Perfect!
