Hawkins Estate at Tanganyika

Our group was our grow children with little grand children. The house was perfect for all of us. Weather was extremely hot so we throughly enjoyed the pool and took advantage of having the house on property. We would go to the park early and then come back in the heat of the day, the littles could nap and we cooled off in the pool.
The house is massive and as beautiful as it is pictured. The large kitchen was amazing and very well stocked. We fixed several large meals and had ample room for everyone. Highly recommend the estate!!! It was a game changer for sure!

Lovely home

Highly recommend staying at the Hawkins Estate as part of your Tanganyika experience! You are literally a 1 minute walk from the VIP entrance - making it easy to pop back and forth - which was nice during the hot afternoons. The house has so many amenities - from board games, pool floats, streaming services, and an (almost) fully stocked kitchen - you had everything you needed at your fingertips. Mornings were spent having coffee (yes they have a Keurig for your use) on the deck watching the cheetahs play. Evenings were spent lounging in the pool and then curled up with some popcorn watching the sunset. We will be back and will coordinate that we can stay at Hawkins again as I will not want to stay anywhere else. Well worth the price! Matt and CJ were amazing hosts who answered every question we had and welcomed us with hugs when we were running late getting in from the airport.

Worth Every Penny!

What a wonderful place to stay!! After a fun-filled day at Tanganyika Wildlife Park, our family (4 adults, 5 children) spent the night at Hawkins Estate, spending time playing games, enjoying the saltwater pool, and watching the graceful movements of cheetahs. The beds were luxurious and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend adding a stay at Hawkins Estate to your Tanganyika visit, even if you live close by. It's an experience worth repeating!!

It had been years since we planned a family vacation. Both grown children, months apart, sent us the info on Tanganyika Wildlife Park so we checked into nearby lodging. Hawkins Estate was the only way to go!! This retreat is set up to entertain the entire family. From playing pool to swimming, pickleball, board games, or taking a quiet stroll along the banks of the nearby lake, we had the most enjoyable stay. An added bonus is sharing space with the cheetahs (out back). Thanks to CJ for greeting us and sharing the history of the park. Hawkins Estate is exquisite and every bit worth it!!

Matt was a great communicator and a generous, accommodating host.
We had a few minor issues that were immediately resolved.
Location is amazing, we took advantage of being steps from the zoo.
Cheetahs in the back yard! what more can one ask for?
