Grandma Sherri's Casita

The house was perfect for our needs. I have 2 teen boys and my elderly father and we all fit perfectly. It was clean and well maintained and the communication was fantastic. The location is literally right outside the gates. I suggest you book 2 nights because we drove into town straight to the zoo to do all of our adventures. Then went to our house exhausted at 4pm. I feel we missed out on the evening at the zoo and being able to take advantage of the close location to leave and come back because we did not realize the house was actually that close.

Great everything!

I stayed with my two older children during our visit to Tanganyika and we absolutely loved it! The house is bigger than the pictures suggest; we were very comfortable. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I hope we can come back one day and stay longer.

Great for Tanganyika visit!

Our family stayed here while we were in town for our regional track meet, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The host was fantastic—any time we had a question or needed anything, he responded quickly and was incredibly helpful.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the zoo, which was absolutely amazing and made for a wonderful family outing. Between the great location, the beautiful home, and the outstanding hospitality, our trip couldn’t have gone any better.

We truly appreciated everything and will definitely be back. Anytime we’re in Wichita or anywhere nearby, this will be our first choice for a place to stay. We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming, and stress-free stay!

Wonderful experience

We were wonderfully surprised with how spacious and well stocked Grandma Sherrie’s Casita was. There was plenty of room for my young granddaughter to run and play. The kitchen had so many utensils and cooking supplies that we were able cook up everything we purchased with ease. The beds were comfortable. It was wonderful to have shampoo/conditioner and body wash supplies in the bathroom-nice touch. I would highly recommend and we will be reserving again when we make the trip to Tanganyika in a couple of years.

Comfortable and Spacious

This house is everything my friend and I had hoped for and more. Quiet, comfortable, well equipped kitchen ( Blackstone grill a bonus!!), super comfy bedrooms and bathrooms, washer and dryer. Everything was beautiful!!
