Your Charming Maine Escape: Relax, Recharge, Repeat

Viking Trail Cabin

We really enjoyed staying in Rachel's cabin, with everything we could possibly need thoughtfully provided. She even anticipated items we MIGHT need to make our stay complete and memorable, such as small coolers, games, beach towels and many many others. And it was so clean, this beautiful cabin was
absolutely spotless. I have no suggestions for additions or improvements, and would highly recommend this lovely place. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I know we would book again without hesitation.

Peaceful stay with everything we needed

This cabin was a perfect midweek stop for our little Maine road trip with our kids. Comfy and cozy. The pack and play and high chair were super helpful to have. We enjoyed walking down to the water from the house and driving in to Ellsworth for dinner at Fogtown Brewing.

Perfect Stop on our Roadtrip

We loved this little cottage in Surry! It provided an easy commute to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It was so great for us and our two kids - Rachel had a pack and play for us and games and puzzles. Walking distance to the beach was awesome. We can’t wait to come back!

We can’t wait to come back!

It was perfect for the three of us and it had everything. It was very clean and very well organized. It is very nicely decorated. The host was so good with communication. All the instructions were perfect. It was a great location to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The nearest town of Ellsworth was only 10 mins away and has a grocery stores, restaurants and little shops. There is a private beach near the property and that was nice to walk down to and see the views. Overall we are very satisfied and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin

Like all the other reviews, we wish we had more time in the cabin. It is spectacular and the notebook (house manual) lists everything you can think of and more. The beds were super comfortable, the shower had light pressure but there is a bathtub if you’re picky. The porch is great for sitting under a canopy of trees and cooking lobster and clams! The beach at the end of the road is serene and it changes every time you walk there. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise. We hope to be back for a longer stay.

Loved cooking lobster on the deck
