This lovely, family-friendly detached villa with heated private pool is very near to the hotel on the Mar Menor Golf Resort, so is situated in an excellent location.
The villa is perfectly equipped for a relaxing holiday and is an excellent choice for families and couples alike. There is air conditioning in all rooms (which provides heating in cooler months), together with ceiling fans in both bedrooms.
At the front of the property, there is a shaded driveway, then upon passing through the front door, you enter the large, light and spacious lounge/diner. This has a modern TV with a choice of TV channels (similar to UK Freeview), plus channels in other languages, and free fibre Wi-Fi.
At the rear of the lounge there are large sliding patio doors leading out to a private covered terrace, perfect for escaping the sun if you wish to. From here, there is an excellent sized, recently-installed, pool (which can be heated at an additional cost).
The galley style kitchen is well equipped and semi open-plan to the lounge. The kitchen features an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge–freezer, kettle, a Nespresso De’Longhi coffee machine and all cookware — ideal for self-catering holidays.
The owners have provided variety of equipment for children, including children’s plates and cutlery, and a small selection of toys and books.
The master bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a 160cm wide, king sized bed, with a window overlooking the rear garden. From here, there is access to the recently renovated en-suite bathroom with a shower cubicle, vanity washbasin, and a toilet. To the front of the villa, there is another good sized bedroom, again with ample storage space. It has two single beds, that can also be zipped together to make a super king sized bed. Right next to this bedroom, the recently updated family shower room is located. It has a shower cubicle, wash hand basin with vanity unit, and toilet.
The layout of the villa makes it ideal for two couples sharing, or for a family. There is a wonderful sun terrace on top, with views over the countryside.

Villa Alegre, Mar Menor Golf

We spent 2 beautiful weeks in Villa Alegre’s 2-bedroom villa with my husband, and my mum joined us for 5 days. She wished she’d stayed the full 2 weeks!
Richard & Sarah, thank you for helping make our memorial holiday so special. Your villa was immaculately clean, truly relaxing, and the pool was pristine every day.
No steps anywhere made it ideal for my mum — she found it so easy and comfortable. You’re fantastic hosts and made everything seamless.
Everything was perfect.
If you’re looking for a spotless, peaceful, accessible villa at Mar Menor Golf Resort with hosts who genuinely care, book Villa Alegre. Perfect for couples, families, and especially trips with elderly parents.
See you next year!

10/10 Perfect Memorable Holiday

Richard and Sarah are absolutely amazing host to there villa, great communication from start to finish.
We even extended our stay due to two days rain which is unheard of and all i did was text Richard to ask if we could stay longer and he said it was fine.
Both myself and my friend have very busy jobs and it’s a great place to relax and unwind.
One thing though we will buy you a better BBQ when we next out 😀.
Will be back again soon.

Amazing hosts

Apartment is exceptionally clean. Exactly as described in the pictures. Very quiet and relaxing. Little things have been thought about, such as bin bags / a couple of dishwasher tablets that just made the first couple of days less to worry about.
The air con is very efficient and the whole apartment is well thought about.
Definitely worth getting the pool heated, meant we could use it first thing in the morning and late at night and the children never wanted to get out!
The communication from the hosts was very helpful, efficient and friendly.
The location is great, close and cheap taxi into Murcia or Los Alcazarez or a short drive. Ability to walk to the nearby hotel complex and bar / padel courts was a bonus.
Definitely recommend and would return
