Villa Tramontalba

An absolute gem of a place equipped with everything you would look for. Stayed early October. Wonderful views over the pool and the villa’s own olive grove across the valley to the sea. Short walk into the beautiful village of Montescudaio to get groceries, drink or to eat at the great restaurants available. Ended up eating twice at BardoVino the food and atmosphere were that good. A good base to explore Tuscany and we enjoyed day trips to Siena, Lucca and Cinque Terre.
We were well looked after by host Scott and would thoroughly recommend. Hope to be back soon.

An absolute gem of a place

We regard ourselves as fussy travelers who are always looking for the finer things in life. We found that at Villa Tramontalba. We cannot recommend this villa highly enough and are all already planning our trip back for next year with a broader set of our family. Scott the host was extremely responsive to all of our requests. The villa was beautifully presented. We were there in the height of the Italian heat wave (June 2026) and the air-conditioning units throughout the property kept us cool. That was very welcome, as was the pool, which has the most beautiful vista down the Tuscan Valley. The Villa is extremely spacious with multiple living areas. We were a party of eight and never felt confined. Perfect Villa for families. Faultless. Highly recommended. Charming village with great local amenities and restaurants.

We cannot recommend this villa highly enough

Arrived at the villa to be greeted by a wonderful representative who gave us a fully guided tour of everything, and then produced a bountiful welcome plate of local produce which was extremely well received. The villa has abundant supplies of everything you need, particularly when here for only a week … all the boring stuff like dishwasher, washing, rubbish bags etc. etc… literally everything….even a EV charging point! The views are panoramic over the valley to the sea, with magnificent sunsets changing daily.Short walk into town and lots of fantastic restaurants, particularly BardoVino which I couldn’t recommend higher.Private chef that was recommended, Gianluca, was also a highlight - fantastic food - definitely worth it.Thank you Scott so much for your wonderful hospitality - we would love to return!

Wonderful hospitality - we would love to return!

Absolutely fantastic villa - everything you need! It’s been very well done out with plenty of space. Party of 8 with room for 10 comfortably.Views are absolutely amazing - you could sit outside forever just looking over the valley and the ocean. Easy walk into town plus great shortcut in 3 mins to a fantastic bar and restaurant. Had 4 spectacularly good meals in town and 3 bbqs at the house.Scott was amazing to deal with, so quick to respond and incredibly helpful - book direct!Would absolutely love to return!

Absolutely fantastic villa

This beautiful place doesn’t disappoint. It is like a stunning piece of paradise with views of the countryside and coast as far as the eye can see. The surroundings and cleverly planted gardens are full of lavender, olive trees and bountiful wildlife, birds, bees and butterflies. The pool and terraced area is cleverly created to allow you to relax and take in the views from every aspect with plenty of space for relaxing and dinning and in the evenings the sunsets are spectacular! The villa itself is also spacious, very clean and well laid out with everything you could possibly need and beautifully decorated too! Each bedroom and en-suite is stylish and with amazing views from every window. Scott is a fabulous host, very responsive with every request and he went out of his way to give us a special welcome. The short lovely walk to the village through the garden is so convenient for eating out day and night and even had fireflies on our walk back!! I can’t recommend it enough !
