Relax and enjoy the year round activities at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in our recently renovated modern mountain townhome.  Located directly across the street from the ski hill, this home has great views and is a quiet end unit.  Short walk to lifts or in season take the shuttle to the ski resort, nearby Hope Lake Lodge, or Adventure Center.
Our space is laid out to maximize your comfort and enjoyment. One bedroom with a queen bed, a full-size murphy bed on the main level and there is an additional convertible chair/bed.   You'll love our beautiful bathroom with rainhead shower.
Stow your equipment in our locked ski closet.  Snuggle in by the electric fireplace and play boards games.
There is a well-equipped kitchen if you'd like to prepare meals "at home" or dine nearby at Trax Pub and Grill or Carver's Steak House.
Hope Lake Lodge has a waterpark and Waterfall Spa.  Nature lovers and hikers can enjoy the Finger Lakes Trail system.  The ski trails turn into mountain bike trails spring to fall.
Getting married or attending a wedding at Greek Peak?  This is an ideal location to give you some peace and quiet in between the fun and you can easily walk to venues if you prefer!
We are a ten minute drive from the Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex in Cortland and a half hour away to enjoy Ithaca, Cayuga Lake and Finger Lake wineries.

Virgil Mountain View

Virgil Mountain View is a beautiful and relaxing condo! I stayed for a month and very much enjoyed living there. Jennifer and Adam are lovely hosts- the condo has everything you need, is stylish, and is very comfortable. There are new appliances, a beautiful bathroom, comfortable furniture- they have an eye for design and functionality! The hosts were responsive to any questions I had and are very hospitable. If truly felt like home.

The location is quiet and peaceful, without being out in the sticks. I enjoyed jogging around Hope Lake and playing disc golf. There are restaurants within walking distance, and it is conveniently located to Ithaca and Cortland.

It’s perfect for travel nurses or longer stays as well as weekend getaways all year, staying for a wedding at Greek Peak, graduation lodging, or for a ski trip! I would 10/10 recommend staying here to anyone coming to the Central, NY area. Way better than a hotel!!

Incredible Spot!

Virgil Mountain View feels like a second home. We returned this year because of Jennifer's warm hospitality and superb location.

The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and the ideal location across from the slopes further enhances the experience. Clean and well-maintained, the accommodations meet high standards, ensuring a comfortable retreat.

A truly memorable and comforting experience.

A Home Away From Home

Hands down one of our favorite rentals. They thought of everything, I don’t have enough great things to say! My 11 year old daughter and her best friend thought it was the “best places they have ever been”. We were honestly walking distance to the mountain, easy access to the lodge’s amenities, and perfectly fine for sitting in by the fireplace. I never had Greek peek on my radar before, but I am telling you I would come back here just to be able to stay here again! If you are on the fence I’m telling you if you have a small group or couples trip, this is the place

We loved our stay. 5 min walk to main lift. Can see people skiing from living room. We drove over just to take breaks/ have a snack in our car at times… but also loved Trax Pub (solid beers, best mac and Cheese I’ve ever had- brisket was in it). LOVED the variety of trails PS… I am a new skier this season and loved the glades or tree runs.Jennifer was so responsive and helpful if we needed anything but chances are you won’t need much- she has everything (I.e even a crock pot- I should have checked because we brought our own ha).Only time we needed her was regarding an unplowed drive way to get into parking lot (we have a smaller car)… this was right as a snow storm was getting going but Jennifer called management of the place to be plowed. It turned out totally fine! The design of the place is gorgeous- modern while still being cozy and so many creative storage options to make it feel open. I felt like it was my place within 30 minutes and wished we could have stayed longer.

Felt like it was my place within 30 minutes

What a fantastic experience! The owners of Virgil Mountain clearly put a lot of love into this cozy spot. We were at Greek Peak for a wedding weekend and were thrilled with our decision to stay at Virgil Mountain as opposed to the lodge. Extremely clean rental with all the accommodations - right down to a fresh supply of microwave popcorn! Very clear communications from the owners with follow up to be sure we were set throughout our stay. We’ve already discussed a return trip!

Perfect for a wedding weekend!
