Discover the charm and serenity of Prince Edward Island at Dunes and Dreams, your perfect getaway nestled in the scenic north shore community of The Hebrides. Set on a tranquil peninsula where New London Bay meets the Southwest River, this peaceful retreat offers the ideal blend of comfort, natural beauty, and fun-filled amenities such as kayaks, access to a community beach, in-ground community pool, mini putt, and more.
This spacious vacation home features three comfortable bedrooms—a queen bed in the master and two double (full) beds—along with two full bathrooms, making it ideal for families, couples, or friends traveling together. The bright open-concept living space is designed for connection and relaxation, featuring a cozy living room with a propane fireplace, a sofa bed for additional guests, and plenty of natural light.
The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals at home, whether you’re enjoying a quiet breakfast or gathering for dinner after a day of Island adventures. Coastal-inspired décor and thoughtful finishes throughout the home reflect PEI’s laid-back lifestyle and create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere.
Step outside to soak in the view—your back porch overlooks the water, offering front-row seats to stunning sunsets. Spend evenings around the firepit toasting marshmallows under the stars, launch the kayaks from the shore access a short walk down the road, or take a short stroll to a small, secluded community beach, perfect for morning walks, shell collecting, or simply enjoying the shoreline.
As part of The Hebrides community, guests enjoy complimentary access to fantastic shared amenities, including a clubhouse with a large gathering hall, games room, in-ground swimming pool, par-3 golf course, tennis courts, mini putt, shuffleboard, and horseshoe pits—there’s truly something for everyone.
Conveniently located near some of PEI’s most popular destinations, Dunes and Dreams is just a short drive to Cavendish, Stanley Bridge, and Kensington. Spend your days exploring sandy beaches, enjoying fresh seafood, golfing, or visiting iconic attractions like Green Gables and local artisan shops.

Dunes and Dreams - Waterview Cottage

This was the second year we stayed at this location with friends and hope to return next year! The cottage is located on a large lot with beautiful views of the water situated away from heavily travelled roads so it is very quiet. We had a very quick response to a request for assistance with the propane heater to take off the early morning chill.

My only suggestions would be to clear some cupboard space for guests to store snacks/food and to add a couple taller lamps for guests who like to read in the evening.

Dunes and Dreams

Appreciated the location which was close to great restaurants, entertainment and the PEI National Park, but far enough from the main roads so there was no traffic noise. Beautiful scenery from the decks.

Beautiful

Fantastic stay on the North Shore of Prince Edward Island. Beautiful water views and FABULOUS star gazing! Great location. Cozy cottage was perfect for our family of 5. Comfortable and clean bedding and accommodations. Working with Alex and Melissa and they made everything perfect for our stay.

Gorgeous

A perfect spot for a relaxing summer vacation! The house is perfectly maintained and very spacious, decorated in such a cute way with thoughtful touches and everything you could need. Views of the water were wonderful and easy driving access to a ton of places on the north shore. Also loved the crib board! Would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to come back again! Would be great for families or multiple couples or just a bunch of friends.
