Welcome to The Shore House — a charming coastal cottage tucked away in beautiful Amherst Shore, just steps from the warm waters and red sand beaches of the Northumberland Strait. Perfect for families, couples, or a relaxing East Coast getaway, this cozy retreat offers the ideal mix of rustic charm, outdoor living, and laid-back beachside comfort.

Inside, the cottage features an inviting open-concept living space with comfortable seating, a sleeper sofa for extra guests, and plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals after a day at the beach, while the two-bedroom layout comfortably accommodates families or small groups. The primary bedroom offers a queen bed, and the second bedroom features a custom bunk bed setup that’s perfect for kids or additional guests. A full bathroom with a stand-up shower completes the interior space.

The true highlight of The Shore House is the outdoor living experience. Start your mornings with coffee on the spacious deck while taking in the fresh sea breeze, gather for meals in the screened-in dining room, or unwind in the pergola seating area after a day exploring the shore. In the evenings, enjoy the firepit under the stars and soak in the peaceful coastal atmosphere.

Just a short stroll away, you’ll find access to Amherst Shore Beach — a shared beach loved for its stunning red sand, warm waters, and endless shoreline to explore. When the tide goes out, miles of beach open up for walking, beachcombing, and discovering tidal pools that are safe and fun for children to enjoy. On especially clear days, you can even catch views across the water toward Prince Edward Island in the distance.

Whether you’re spending your days relaxing by the water, exploring the coastline, or simply enjoying slow evenings around the fire, The Shore House is the perfect place to experience the charm of Nova Scotia’s Northumberland Shore.
