Welcome to Atlantis Cottage Rental, a truly exceptional luxury loft perched above the stunning Southwest River in beautiful Margate, Prince Edward Island. Inspired by the Island's deep connection to the sea, this one-of-a-kind retreat blends upscale comfort with nautical charm, creating an unforgettable coastal escape.
From the moment you arrive, you'll be captivated by the panoramic river views, soaring ceilings, reclaimed barn beams, and rich hardwood barn-board flooring that give the space warmth, character, and timeless appeal. Thoughtfully curated maritime décor and nautical touches can be found throughout the loft, celebrating life on the water and the natural beauty of Prince Edward Island.
At the heart of the home is a spectacular chef's kitchen featuring imported custom cabinetry, butcher block countertops, premium appliances, and a large entertaining island perfect for gathering with family and friends. The open-concept living and dining area is designed to maximize the breathtaking views of the Southwest River, while offering comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a stunning custom billiards table that serves as both a showpiece and entertainment hub.
The loft comfortably accommodates families and groups with three beautifully appointed bedrooms. Two spacious queen bedrooms provide peaceful retreats, while younger guests will love the custom-built boat bed (toddler-size mattress) in the third bedroom—a unique feature that perfectly complements the property's maritime theme. Two beautifully crafted custom bathrooms feature upscale finishes and thoughtful design throughout. In-suite laundry adds convenience for longer stays.
Step outside onto one of two private decks and take in the ever-changing river scenery. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee as the sun rises over the water, watching boats pass by, or unwinding after a day of exploring the Island, these outdoor spaces are designed to make the most of the spectacular setting.
While Atlantis Cottage Rental shares the property with the main residence, the loft is entirely separate and private, with its own entrance, dedicated outdoor spaces, and parking for two vehicles.
Ideally located in Margate, you're just minutes from some of Prince Edward Island's most sought-after attractions. Enjoy championship golf at Andersons Creek Golf Club, spend the day at nearby Cabot Beach Provincial Park, explore the shops and restaurants of Kensington and Summerside, or venture to the famous beaches of Thunder Cove, Twin Shores, and the North Shore coastline. Fresh seafood, scenic drives, artisan markets, and world-class sunsets are all within easy reach.
Offering luxurious accommodations, breathtaking Southwest River views, and a distinctive nautical atmosphere unlike anywhere else on the Island, Atlantis Cottage Rental is the perfect destination for those seeking a truly memorable Prince Edward Island getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had an amazing view of the river. We really enjoyed the pool table, and the beach chairs and umbrella were very much appreciated.
We also loved the thoughtful little extras, like the local beer and chips. The water cooler was another great touch and very convenient to have.
Overall, a beautiful and comfortable place with everything we needed. We highly recommend staying here!

Great stay. Well equipped loft with lots of space. Would stay again.

Great Stay!

Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay here! This property felt so comfortable and homey. Also, the kitchen was well stocked with all you would need to make a home made meal. We especially appreciated the foldable chairs and umbrella in the closet, which make our beach day a little more enjoyable!

The place was very clean- exactly like the pictures and check in went smoothly.

I would definitely recommend a stay at this property!
