Wandarra Homestead is your escape from the fast pace of everyday life. Set on 25 tranquil acres near Mudgee, this luxury dog-friendly retreat offers sweeping views of the rolling countryside, space, comfort and unique touches like our 1920s speakeasy bar “Grandma’s Tipsy.” Perfect for families, girls’ getaways, or celebrating special occasions, Wandarra provides all the amenities you need to bring people together while nurturing a sense of calm and inner peace.
Welcome to Wandarra Homestead: A rare 25-acre farm stay retreat designed to give you space and freedom to truly breathe. From the moment you arrive, rolling landscapes, peaceful stillness, and sweeping views invite you to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with what matters most. A Place to Unwind: Every corner of the property is crafted as a private sanctuary away from daily life. Thoughtfully styled interiors and generous open spaces create a homestead that feels warm, inviting, and effortlessly refined. Designed for Comfort: Accommodating up to nine guests across four elegant bedrooms and three modern bathrooms, Wandarra combines country charm with contemporary comfort. Two large, comfy living areas balance relaxation and entertainment, while our hidden 1920s speakeasy bar, Grandma’s Tipsy, adds a playful touch of indulgence and fun for the adults! Spaces That Inspire Connection: Gather around the fire pit to share stories, or let the vast night sky take your breath away as you stargaze in complete stillness. Whether celebrating, reuniting, or simply escaping, Wandarra provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments. Dog-Friendly Luxury: Pets are part of the family here. With room to roam, Wandarra is one of the region’s few truly luxury dog-friendly stays. Extra Touches: Weekend guests receive a complimentary late check-out at 5pm on Sundays, giving you more time to savour the beauty of Wandarra before heading home. Enhance Your Stay: Make your time at Wandarra even more memorable with tailored add-ons. Indulge in a private massage without leaving the comfort of your home-away-from-home, or enjoy a guided wine tasting on the verandah from our friends at Mudgee Wine School and Lazy Oak, with views as spectacular as the vintages. And that’s just the beginning — we can also arrange other bespoke experiences to suit your group. Simply talk to us about what would make your stay unforgettable, and we’ll help bring it to life. Guest Access: Enjoy complete privacy with self check-in via secure codes for both the front gate and homestead. The entire property is yours during your stay — including the house, the speakeasy bar, and the spacious home paddock.
