Xanadu Villa offers the ultimate in privacy, size and comfort to its guests. With 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, a living room and family room, furnished exercise room, the 4000 sq. ft. along with another 1600 sq. ft. of covered and open patio area this property offers plenty of options for relaxing and entertaining. From the treed 5 acre property you have views of the Jemez Mountains to the West and the Santa Fe ski basin to the East. The property is 8 miles North of Santa Fe in the hills of Tesuque. Upon arrival and entering the enclosed front courtyard you are immediately struck with the uniqueness of the property. There is a large covered portal on the front side of the home with two different seating areas, one with a flaming coffee table. The thoughtfully placed hot tub and BBQ grill are just to the right of the portal. Adjacent to this area are the steps to the 800 square foot observation deck with an outdoor sectional sofa and pub table with chairs. The views from the deck are spectacular. The sunset photos that you see were taken from this area. This deck is also conveniently accessible from the master bedroom. The entrance to the home is through&nbsp;the front covered portal which is&nbsp;12 feet high and continues into the front of the home creating a dramatic entrance. Upon entering the home you immediately realize that a lot of thought went into maximizing the views from the home. Beautiful natural wood beams have been used throughout with wood decking above the beams and beautiful natural hardwood flooring giving the home its distinctive look. There is a large easy-flow kitchen with all new appliances and an extensive amount of storage space. The adjacent dining room has a corner fireplace and the table will adjust from a 6-person seating to seating for 10. The high ceiling and wood beams throughout the living room along with all of the tall windows make for a very comfortable gathering place. There is a door leading onto a deck that offers views to the Southwest including the Santa Fe Opera. You can hear the music when the opera is in season. Additionally, there is a full-size guest bathroom with tub and shower on this level. When you enter the master suite once again you appreciate all of the beautiful wood beams used in the vaulted ceiling of the bedroom and the hardwood floors in the bath and closet area. There is a 4-poster bed, beautiful furniture, and a 60" TV that lowers from the ceiling. The large observation deck is also accessible from the master bedroom and there is an additional deck matching the living room area off the back side of the room with the same Southwest views including a small seating area. From the middle of the house the stairs that lead to the lower level are very open with high ceilings.&nbsp; &nbsp;The spacious family room also features wood beamed ceilings with wood decking and is beautifully furnished with custom-made furniture and features a bar to one side and a 65" TV that drops down from the ceiling.&nbsp; Just off this area is the lower level master bedroom with a King bed which is beautifully appointed, and has a 3/4 bath and walk-in closet. Around the staircase and down the hall are the 3 Queen bedrooms all of which have been thoughtfully furnished with beautiful furniture and wall art. One of these bedrooms has a walk-in closet and a door leading outside to a private table and&nbsp; seating area under the trees. The laundry room has new large-capacity washer and dryer and set up as a kitchenette with sink, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and accessories. Just past this area and leading to the double car garage is a large exercise room with nice equipment and views of the backyard. There are 4 access points to the backyard that is enclosed by a stucco wall and offers several areas to gather around a table or relax on the hammock or just enjoy the open space and nature. The silence is theraputic. During your stay at Xanadu Villa you are the only guests at the property and have full access to what the home has to offer. Xanadu Villa - 5 Bedroom, 4 Bath Retreat Property on 5 acres

Louise H     Thu, May 2 – Tue, May 7, 2024Vrbo 5/5 Amazing Tesuque property       We had a family reunion of siblings & spouses at this lovely property. Our host was amazing and attentive, immediately responding to solve any questions we had.  We enjoyed the benefit of two living areas, with high-quality furnishings, which helped us relax and rest while vacationing. The master suite on the main floor was fantastic; the tree-top view was wonderful - like sleeping in a tree house! Our only regret is that we had high winds and rain during our stay, so we didn’t get to enjoy the outside decks and garden areas as much as we wanted.          5/19/2024 at 5:00 AM

Amazing Tesuque Property

Santa Fe Escape

Jennifer CThu, Oct 12 – Sun, Oct 15, 2023Vrbo 5/5          Beautiful!     A large group came to celebrate our anniversaries by viewing the eclipse and visiting the Balloon Fiesta. We had 8 adults together - and the house was perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The hot tub was a hit! And we enjoyed the lovely back yard garden area - sitting outside enjoying the view. Alan was attentive when I had questions and even shared his eclipse photos!
