Welcome to your peaceful retreat in the heart of Prahran — a beautifully renovated Californian bungalow on a quiet, tree-lined street, just a 5 minute walk to Chapel Street, and a 3 minute walk to the train and trams.

Meticulously restored and thoughtfully styled, the home blends timeless character with refined Art Deco and Japanese influences. Relax beside the cosy wood fireplace in winter, or enjoy the private north-west-facing courtyard surrounded by lush greenery and Mediterranean charm.

Zen Deco Bungalow

My family of 4 had a great stay at Nathan's place. It was spotless, had plenty of space and had everything provided that you could need for a stay. We all felt comfortably at home from the start and found it perfectly located to get into the city by train and a short stroll to vibrant Chapel St.  Nathan was a great host and we will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Melbourne.

Perfect for our family of four

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was fantastic and made it easy to explore the area, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The home is beautifully decorated with so much warmth and character, and the garden is truly amazing — such a lovely space to unwind. The wood fire made the evenings especially cosy and it genuinely felt like a home away from home. Everything was spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully presented. Nathan was also a fantastic host — friendly, helpful, responsive and great to communicate with throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again.

Warmth, character and a truly amazing garden

This beautiful home in the heart of Prahran was an absolute delight to stay in. Nathan's place was spacious and very accommodating. It was close to everything we needed and more—trains, shops, restaurants, cafes and groceries. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to visit Melbourne.

In the heart of Prahran

Charming, clean, spacious and great location. We felt very welcome at Nathan’s place (Zen Bungalow), and the wine and snacks were an unexpected but greatly appreciated extra. We also loved having a fire each night with the supplied firewood. We would love to stay here again.

Charming, spacious and beautifully welcoming

We had a fantastic stay and couldn't recommend this place more highly. The house was beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and had so much thoughtful attention to detail that it truly felt like a home away from home. Nathan is an amazing host, super friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
